GHSS Bandipora hosts district level competitions on Panch Pran of Amrit Kaal.

Bandipora, May 26: Govt Girls Higher secondary Bandipora  on Saturday  hosted several competitions themed ‘Panch Pran of Amrit Kaal’- a district level competition in collaboration with District Administration Bandipora and school Education department.

            The programme was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Baramulla and all the Higher Secondary Schools of District Bandipora except zone Gurez participated in the competition in connection with District Level Yuva Utsav India at 2047. 

            Additional District Development Commissioner Bandipora Ali Afsar Khan was the chief guest on the occasion.

            The students above the age group of 15 years were eligible to participate in five categories viz Young artists camp-painting, young writers contest-poetry, Photography contest and workshop, Declamation contest and district cultural festival-group event.

            Around 200 students participated In the competition and registered their positions. 

            Mir Maliha Mubashir of Class 11th from Girls Higher Sec Bandipora secured 1st position in Declamation contest, Rabia Rahim of GHSS Bandipora secured 1st position in young artist camp painting, Mohammad Hazim of HSS Ajas secured 1st position in photography and workshop, Hazib Reyaz of HSS Ajas secured first position in young writers contest poetry and in the Cultural festival group event HSS Aragam secured 1st position respectively.

Total three positions in all segments were declared with the cash prize of Rs 5000 for 1st postion, Rs 2500 for 2nd position and Rs 1250 for third postion holders which will be directly credited in the accounts of winner students. Pertinent to mention that 

The position holders are going to participate in the UT level competition scheduled to be held in the  University of Kashmir in coming days.

            Chief Education officer Bandipora Ab Majeed Dar congratulated all the participants and position holders for their success and attended the event as guest of honour besides Ex-Chief Education Officer Baramulla/Bandipora Mr G M Lone. 

            Joint Director NYK and Chief organiser Hakeem Abdul Aziz highlighted the importance of conducting and organising these programs at district level. He also threw light on "Amrit Kaal "and India as a developed Nation in near future.

The event was also attended by Employment and Labour Commissioner, Jury members, Zonal Cultural Coordinators and escort teachers.

Arsalan Habib conducted all the proceedings of the event and formal vote of thanks was presented by the Dy Chief Education Officer Bandipora and Principal GHSS Mohammad Rafiq Parrey.
