Word Health day: GHSS Bandipora organises awareness program

Bandipora,April 7:  Govt Girls Model Girls Higher Secondary School  plan Bandipora on Friday  celebrated 

World Health Day by organising an awareness programme to  sensitize students to remain health conscious by eating nutritious food, fruits and vegetables. 

The students were made aware about the day by the speakers from teaching faculty that includes Vice principal of the school Bashir Ahmad Mir, Deepak Kumar,Javeed Ahmad mir and Mohammad Amin. 

The main motive behind the day is to create awareness among all the people in the world about their health. This year, the WHO has set theme as " Health For All". 

Many students of the school threw light on the theme of this year's world health day. Students shed light on the importance of healthy eating habits, adequate rest and hygiene.

The audience learnt about common health problems, with an emphasis on good eating habits and the importance of sports & exercise in our daily lives. Students also pledged to keep their mind and bodies healthy. 

Later ,an interactive session was also conducted by Javid Ahmad mir (SNO)in the school auditorium in which students shared their daily routines and food habit in an open discussion. The program was hosted by Mohammad Amin who also presented vote of thanks at the end.

The Dy.Chief Education Officer and Principal of the school Mohammad Rafiq Parrey congratulated the students for sharing their views and actively participating in the discussion.
