Army restores traffic movement after vehicle breakdown at Waskura

Ganderbal, Aug 10: Army personnel from 24 Rashtriya Rifles, Ganderbal, on Monday helped restore traffic movement after a civil vehicle broke down at Waskura in Ganderbal district, causing congestion on the busy road.

Following a request from the police, Army personnel promptly mobilised a recovery vehicle to the spot and, in coordination with the civil authorities, removed the stranded vehicle from the carriageway.

The timely intervention helped ease the traffic congestion and ensured smooth movement of vehicles along the route.

Local residents, commuters and civil authorities appreciated the prompt response of the Army personnel and their efforts to assist the public during the situation.

The initiative also reflected continued cooperation between the Army and civil administration in addressing emergencies and facilitating public movement.
