IRC organises medical camp at B’pora
BANDIPORA, MARCH 09: Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) a voluntary humanitarian organization in collaboration with District Redcross Society, Bandipora, Department of Sheep Husbandry Department, Bandipora, today distributed medicines among the vulnerable tribal people at Gujjarpathi, Kehnusa.
The joint team of IRC and Sheep Husbandry Department accompanied by medical and veterinary doctors conducted a check-up of the people and their livestock and provided some basic medicines and first aid.
The locals hailed the efforts of the IRCS and SHD Bandipora in reaching out to the inhabitants of the area since they have limited access to even the most basic health care services.
The visiting teams assured them that more such camps would be organised in the near future in other remote areas of the district.
