Bandipora, March 02: As the Schools reopened after a long break, Chief Education Officer Bandipora Dr Abdul Roub Shaad on Wednesday welcomed students at Govt Middle School Town Bandipora.
He was accompanied by Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora, Zonal Education Officer Bandipora and ZEPO Bandipora.
The officers garlanded the students and distributed sweets among them besides spending some lighter moments with them.
CEO Bandipora interacted with the students who shared their experiences of long vacations and feeling of being back in school after a long gape of two years.
He also interacted with the staff and appreciated them for adopting friendly approach towards children.
While addressing the gathering of students and teachers, CEO urged the teachers to continue to adopt student friendly approach during class work so as to make the students comfortable in schools.
He also assured every possible help from the district office to upgrade the school infrastructure. He said government is committed to provide the students quality education. He assured them that the learning gaps created due to the closure of schools will be fulfilled by the teachers.
Shaad advised the students to take full benefit of the facilities provided by the government for the students.
He also directed the teachers to be punctual and provide best education to the students.
Later he along with the ZEO visited all the classrooms of the school and took stock of the arrangements for the students.
