District Admin in touch with GoI for safe evacuation of two Students of Bandipora stuck in Ukraine

Bandipora, March 01: Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Dr Owais Ahmad today said the district administration is in touch with the central government to bring back two students of the district stuck in Ukraine.

Dr Owais said the administration reached out to the family of the two students and informed them about the evacuation operation launched by the Government of India. He said Tehsildar Sumbal Zeeshan Tahir, JKAS, 9419119502 has been desigbated as Nodal Officer and asked to coordinate with the family and the central government to ensure the students are evacuated and brought back to their homes safely.

 

 He said the officer will coordinate with the two students of Bandipora presently at Ukraine and keep informing the Divisional Control Room Kashmir and the District Administration regarding their return arrangements.

On the directions of the Deputy Commissioner, Tehsildar Zeeshan Tahir met the family members of the students and has assured them of every possible help from the district administration for the safe return of their wards. He apprised the family members about the tireless efforts being made by the Central Government for safe evacuation of the students.
