Bandipora, January 15: Jammu and Kashmir General Line Teachers Forum on Saturday urged Director School Education Kashmir to hold DPC for promotion of teachers to master grade as soon as possible.
In a Statment issued today organiser Zahoor Ahmad Lone said the education department has not promoted teachers to masters from 2014. "A number of master grade posts are lying vacant in the school education department to which government should promote teachers to masters".
He said the teachers are stuck to teacher post from last 15 years which has created worries among them. " In past, teachers were promoted to masters yearly but unfortunately from 2014 there has been no master grade promotions,"he added.
The forum also appealed the Principal Secretary School Education to fill up all the posts like Principals, ZEOs and Headmasters so that those institutions may not suffer which are headless.
