Zariya, MY Bharat Distribute Free Drinking Water to Devotees at Mela Kheer Bhawani

Ganderbal, June 22: Zariya – The Unseen Hands, in collaboration with MY Bharat Ganderbal, organised a free drinking water distribution drive for devotees attending the annual Mela Kheer Bhawani at Tulmulla in Ganderbal district.

In a statement issued to Kashmir Convener, the organisation said the initiative was aimed at serving pilgrims and promoting the values of communal harmony, brotherhood and humanitarian service associated with the spirit of Kashmiriyat.

The statement said volunteers of Zariya – The Unseen Hands distributed drinking water to devotees throughout the event and remained stationed at various locations to ensure easy access to clean drinking water for pilgrims.

According to the organisation, the initiative reflected its commitment to serving humanity without discrimination and promoting unity among people belonging to different faiths and communities.

The statement further said the presence and participation of members of the Kashmiri Pandit community at the annual Mela Kheer Bhawani was a moment of joy and significance for the volunteers and organisers, reflecting the enduring spirit of communal harmony and coexistence in Kashmir.

Speaking on the occasion, President of Zariya – The Unseen Hands, Wasil Ayoub, expressed satisfaction over the successful conduct of the service initiative and thanked all volunteers, partner organisations and participants for their cooperation and support.

He said the organisation remains committed to undertaking similar humanitarian initiatives aimed at promoting compassion, social service and communal harmony across Jammu and Kashmir.

The organisation also expressed gratitude to MY Bharat Ganderbal and all stakeholders who contributed to the successful conduct of the programme.
