Bandipora, January 17-2022: In Order to review the general security situation in the district ahead of forthcoming Republic day-2022, SSP Bandipora Mohammad Zahid today chaired a joint security review meeting at conference hall DPL Bandipora.
An official said the meeting was also attended by CO's of Army ,CAPF ,Addl. SP Bandipora ,all SDPO's ,SHO's and other officers of police and Intelligence units.
SSP Bandipora was briefed by the officers about the overall security scenarios in their respective areas and the security measures being adopted to counter the challanges.
He directed all the jurisdictional officers to remain extra-vigilant, strengthen Nakas and generate actionable intelligence having bearing on Republic Day-2022 celebrations,so that Anti-National and Anti-Social Elements do not succeed in their nefarious designs.
SSP further directed all the officers to intensify patrolling and surveillance/domination of their areas and the resources available with them to avert any untoward incident.He stressed upon all the forces for effective and coordinated efforts to meet out any eventuality.The meeting was also addressed by senior officer's of Army and CAPF also.
