Bandipora, Apr 28: Authorities on Wednesday sealed a mutton shop in Main market Bandipora district of north kashmir for selling meat on exorbitant rates.
Assistant Director Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs (FCS &CA) Bandipora along with his team of officers today seized one mutton shop who was nabbed on spot in violation of Govt notified rates by selling meat at exorbitant price of 600/kg against 535/kg .
General public of the area lauded the efforts of administration . "We urge every consumer to come forward with such nature of complaints to put an end to this practice, " he said.-
