Bandipora, Jan 28: Mohammad Mushtaq on saturday assumed the charge of Station House Officer of police station Pethkoot relieving Masood-ul-Hassan.
Mohammad Mushtaq was earlier posted as Do Aloosa and after that in Police station Bandipora as 2nd SHO and now transferred and posted as SHO Pethkoot today. The police officer has served in various capacities at several strategic locations in Bandipora district.
After assuming the charge, he convened an introductory meeting with the officials and impressed upon them to work with honesty dedication and zeal to fulfill the aspirations of the people.
He said the fight against drug addiction besides other social menaces will be his top priority and assured to work shoulder to shoulder with the people to eradicate this menace.
