Tata Vistara celebrates 8th anniversary with school kids in Kashmir
Distributes school kits among children in Srinagar
Srinagar, Jan 11: TATA Vistara Airlines on Tuesday hosted local underprivileged school kids and also celebrated its eighth anniversary with them at a Govt middle school in Srinagar city.
An official spokesperson said Vistara, community service is deeply rooted in our DNA. "As part of our CSR outreach, Vistara Nurtures, the Srinagar Airport Team hosted local underprivileged students and also celebrated Vistara's eighth anniversary with them at one of Govt middle school in Srinagar city".
As part of Vistara’s flagship ‘Book Your Future’ programme, 50 children from low-income families received complete educational supplies, including backpacks to support their overall growth and development.
The children were familiarised with facets of aviation such as tasks of airport employees, information on Vistara Airlines, and how an aircraft takes off by Vistara employees.
The DSP J&K Police Srinagar and the entire Vistara team were the main attendees at this function. "We assured the children that we would carry out more of these programmes going forward and provide them with as much assistance as we can in terms of both knowledge sharing and facilitation of educational resources".
Spokesperson said Vistara is committed to nurturing the communities it operates in.
