Handwara, June 17 : On the directions of Director,Indian System of Medicines (AYUSH) and ADMO Kupwara, Dr. Farooq Iqbal,a yoga session was organised in the premises of DH Handwara on Thursday
which was a part of the camp organised on 3rd June.
This yoga session was inaugurated by Medical Superintendent, Nisar Ahmad and deputy Medical superintendent, Ajaz. In this session, people were introduced with yoga that are beneficial for respiratory disorders.
The main target of this yoga session was to make people understand that how doing these yoga regularly can be beneficial to everyone especially during this pandemic.In this session , Dr. Mohd Ismail, Dr. Shahijahan Wani, Dr Ayoub Marazi, Dr. Seema Bashir and senior pharmacist Mr Farooq Ahmad were also present and spreading information among the people in the best possible way. In the meantime, locals have shown their gratitude and praised ISM ADMO Kupwara,Dr. Farooq Iqbal for conducting this session in such difficult times and letting people take full benefit from this camp.
They said sofar the ISM unit Handwara has successfully provided medicines to more than 700 people without any cost and it will be continued.
The people of the sub division Handwara also expressed gratitude to ISM unit Handwara for organising the free medical camps under ISM.
