Commuters from Ganderbal and Nagbal heading towards Lal Chowk have been asked to take the 90-Feet Soura Road, while those travelling from Rambagh and adjoining areas should use the Jawahar Nagar Bund Road.

The police have made special arrangements for students appearing in examinations, asking them to carry valid admit cards to facilitate their movement through restricted areas.

Emergency services, including ambulances and fire tenders, will be allowed to proceed on priority through the shortest possible routes to reach their destinations, the advisory said.

The traffic police have urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel on affected roads and plan their journeys accordingly, particularly between 5 am and 1:30 pm on Sunday.
