3-day Karwan-i-Islami International Conference begins

International Scholars to address mammoth gathering on July 21

Srinagar, July 19: The annual three-day international conference organized by the Karwan-i-Islami International was officially started on Friday with the Maulood-e-Masood at Markazul Madaris Jamia Qadria in which students of Jamia and the members of Karwan-i-Islami International participated. 

The entire campus of Jamia Qadria reverberated with the praises for the beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

Addressing the gathering, patron of Karwani Islami International Sheikh Ghulam Rasool Hami Sahib said time calls for reviving the path of great Sufi saints to understand the Islam and Quran in its true sense.

He said Muslims across the globe are facing the multiple challenges and the only way to defeat these challenges is to follow the Islam as a complete way of life.

Hami said youth must pull their socks to ensure the drive launched by the Karwani Islami International for eradication of the menace of drug abuse and liquor consumption in the valley of saints.

Soon after the culmination of congregational Friday prayers, Karwani Islami International Flag was unfurled and special prayers were held for entire Islamic Umaah and Kashmir also.

Likewise, in the past, this time also, international Islamic scholars will attend the 12th Shah-e-Jeelan Conference on 21st July 2019 at Markazul Madaris Jamia Qadria Shadipora. More than 50 Hufaaze Kiraam and Ulemas who completed their degrees from Jamia Qadria would be honored on the occasion. The holy relic of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and other tabarukaats will also be displayed. At least 1100 volunteers will be deployed for ensuring smooth conference.
