Poonch, June 11, CNS: The overnight shelling from Pakistani soldiers killed an Indian soldier in Poonch district of Jammu region.
Lance Naik Muhammad Javid was injured on Monday night when Pakistani soldiers according to army resorted to massive shelling at Shahpur sector along Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
Confirming the death of the soldiers, an army official said that injured soldier was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning. He said the slain soldier hails from Marrar area of Tehsil Morrahi, District Khagaria, Bihar.
