PCPG meet held at Police Station Aragam, Ajas
Bandipora, 18 March.To strengthen the Police Public relations and to help people in early redressal of their grievences and bring people nearer to the Police for better output in prevention and detection of crime , Police Community partnership Group Meeting (PCPG) meetings were held at Police Station Aragam and Banyari under the jurisdiction of Police Post Ajas on the directions of SSP Bandipora Rahul Malik .
The meetings were chaired by SHO Police Station Aragam and Incharge Police Post Ajas. An official said People from different walks of life ,panch's ,sarpanch's, numbrdar's, civil society members participated in the meeting's. "Issues pertaining to lack of drinking water, Shortage of electricity, bad road connectivity, fire tender and community health services we're highlighted by the people of Aragam".
Similarly people of Banyari Ajas also raised their demands like bad road connectivity, shortage of power supply, drinking water and lack of health facilities in the area.
Participants were given assurance that their genuine demands would be brought in the notice of concerned officials and the higher-ups of Police department as well for their early redressal.
People hailed the efforts of Bandipora police in organising such meetings and listening their grievences. Participants were given assurance that these kind of meetings would continue in the near future as well.
