Bandipora, Jan 18: Police on Friday arrested two drug peddlers and recovered 650-gram Charas from their possession in north Kashmir's Bandipora district.
An official said that during a naka checking near Mangnipora on Bandipora-Sopore road two drug peddlers namely Shabir Ahmed Reshi son of Ghulam Qadir Reshi resident of Buthoo and Ishfaq Ahmed Bhat son of Ghulam Ahmed Bhat resident of Bagh were arrested.
He said that 650 grams of Charas was recovered from their possession. "In this regard, a case has been registered and investigation taken up, " he said.
