GGHSS Bandipora Felicitates Eight UG NEET 2026 Qualifiers

Bandipora, September 12: Government Girls Higher Secondary School (GGHSS) Bandipora organised a felicitation ceremony on Friday to honour eight of its students who qualified the UG NEET 2026 examination.

Chief Education Officer Bandipora Rafiq Ahmad Mir was the chief guest, while Deputy Chief Education Officer Bandipora Dr G. M. Pujju attended as the guest of honour. Zonal Education Officer Bandipora Fayaz Ahmad Shah was also present.

The students felicitated were Asmat Bashir, Sundus Jan, Sanai Zara Balti, Aymun Showkat, Saika Javid, Seerat Rasool, Awleena Ali and Sumaira Hussain. The qualifiers were presented certificates of appreciation and medals.

Speaking at the event, Dr Pujju congratulated the students and advised them to remain focused on their studies. He also encouraged them to develop technological skills, particularly in emerging areas such as artificial intelligence and robotics.

CEO Rafiq Ahmad Mir stressed the importance of discipline in student life and urged the achievers to make it a guiding principle. Referring to the National Education Policy 2020, he also encouraged students to develop relevant skills and competencies for their future careers.

Principal GGHSS Bandipora Jawaid Ahmad Magrey congratulated the students and acknowledged the role of teachers and parents in supporting their academic journey. He also highlighted the school’s academic and co-curricular achievements and expressed hope that the institution would continue to improve its performance.

The ceremony concluded with the school hosting the achievers and their parents over tea.
