GOC Fire & Fury Corps Reviews Operational Preparedness in Forward Areas

Srinagar, July 8: General Officer Commanding (GOC) Fire & Fury Corps, Madanraj Pande, visited the Forever in Operations Division and forward areas of the Dras, Kargil and Biamah sectors to review operational preparedness and combat readiness along the Line of Control (LoC).

During the visit, Lt Gen Pande assessed the security situation and the operational readiness of troops deployed in the challenging high-altitude terrain. He also reviewed preparedness to meet emerging operational requirements in the strategically important sectors.

The Corps Commander interacted with officers and soldiers deployed in the forward areas and commended them for their grit, resilience and unwavering commitment while serving under demanding weather and terrain conditions.

He exhorted all ranks to maintain the highest standards of vigilance, professionalism and combat readiness to effectively safeguard the nation’s borders along the Line of Control.
