BANDIPORA, JUNE 13: Students of the Gujjar and Bakarwal (G&B) Hostel Bandipora on Saturday visited the Waqar Knowledge Centre Mini Secretariat Bandipora as part of an exposure tour aimed at encouraging interactive learning, dialogue, and greater awareness about educational and developmental opportunities available to the youth.
Programme Officer, ICDS Bandipora, Yaar Ali Khan, interacted with the students and highlighted the importance of awareness, continuous learning, and positive community engagement in shaping responsible and confident youth. He encouraged the students to actively participate in educational and developmental initiatives and make constructive use of platforms like the Waqar Knowledge Centre for their personal growth and future aspirations.
District Information Officer Bandipora, Aadil Manzoor Wani; Block Development Officer Aloosa, Ulfat Ali; and other officials were present on the occasion and interacted with the students during the exposure visit.
During the visit, officials and staff members associated with the Waqar Knowledge Centre interacted with the students and highlighted the broader vision behind the facility as a shared learning and community space designed to promote awareness, guidance, innovation, and constructive engagement among young people.
The students were introduced to the various activities and initiatives being conducted at the Waqar Knowledge Centre, particularly those focusing on youth empowerment, career awareness, public participation, and social issues affecting society. Officials also encouraged students to make use of such platforms for learning, self-development, and informed decision-making.
The interactive exposure visit provided the students with an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions and gain firsthand experience of a community-oriented space dedicated to learning and awareness. The students actively participated in the session with enthusiasm and curiosity.
