SHOPIAN,May 16: Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse and protect the future of youth, Shopian Police in collaboration with the Civil Administration organized an anti-drug awareness rally at Melhura, Zainapora under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
The rally aimed to spread awareness among the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and emphasized the collective responsibility of society in eradicating this menace. Participants actively joined the campaign and pledged to work towards building a drug-free society.
Meanwhile, Shopian Police conducted a cordon and search operation at Melhura in connection with NDPS-related activities as part of its sustained crackdown against drug trafficking and substance abuse. The operation was carried out to identify and take strict action against individuals involved in narcotics activities and to ensure a drug-free environment in the area.
Shopian Police reiterated its firm commitment to continue such awareness initiatives as part of the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan, with the objective of creating a safer, healthier and drug-free future for the youth.
