Awantipora Police Hold Awareness Programme on NMBA at GHSS Pampore

Awantipora, April 28: Continuing its efforts under the Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyan, Police Station Pampore organized an awareness programme at Government Girls Higher Secondary School Pampore.

The programme aimed to sensitize students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of staying away from narcotics. Officers from Police Station Pampore interacted with students and staff, highlighting the social, legal, and health consequences of substance abuse.
Students were encouraged to play an active role in spreading awareness and to act as responsible members of society in combating the drug menace. The interactive session also addressed queries from students, promoting open dialogue and awareness.

The school authorities appreciated the initiative and assured full cooperation in future awareness programmes.

Awantipora Police reiterates its commitment to creating a drug free society through continuous awareness and strict action against drug-related activities.
