Srinagar, September 05: Government Higher Secondary School Budoabb Tulail on Friday celebrated Teachers’ Day by organising a grand function to felicitate and honor dedication of teachers and achievements of students
An official spokesperson said the event was anchored by Dr. Aijaz Parray, along with students Shahid, Qurat-ul-Ain, and Maryam Sharief.
The celebration began with a welcome address by Dr. Aijaz Parray, followed by Tilawat-e-Qur’an by Qurat-ul-Ain from Class 11 and Naat-e-Sharief recited by Rafiqa of Class 10.
The program also featured speeches by Mansoor-ul-Rehman of Class 11 and Shameema Bashir, inspiring both students and staff. Shahid Hussain added a musical touch with a lively song performance, creating an atmosphere of joy and celebration.
Principal Mr. Nayeem Ahmad Parray lauded the hard work and dedication of the school’s staff and students and emphasized the importance of teachers in shaping the future. Certificates were presented to 56 students in recognition of their academic excellence and meritorious performance.
Special recognitions were also given to outstanding students and staff members. Farhana from Class 12, Zakir Hussain from Class 11, and Mansoor-ul-Rehman from Class 10 were honored for their academic excellence during the 2024-25 session.
Tokens of appreciation in the form of cash prizes were presented to Haleema Bano of Class 12 and Shameema Bashir of Class 11 for their contributions.
The school also presented awards of appreciation to several staff members for their dedication and valuable service, including Mr. Gh. Mohi-ud-Din Lone, Jalal-ud-Din Lone, Ab. Rehman Lone, Shaziya Jamal, Er. Mir Aadil Hussain, Altaf Beigh, Rehmatullah Naik, Fayaz-ur-Rehman, and Mohd. Afzal Khan. Dr. Aijaz Parray received a special Award of Appreciation for his outstanding service over the past decade, while Gh. Mohd Khan was conferred the Best Teacher Award for his exemplary contribution to education.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Gh. Mohi-ud-Din Lone, and the day ended with warm applause and joyous moments of togetherness, making Teachers’ Day 2025 a memorable celebration at HSS Budoabb Tulail.
