Bandipora, 12 April: President of Municipal Council (MC) Bandipora resigned from his post.
Basharat Hussain Najar was elected from ward No. 03 of Bandipora on Indian National Congress ticket and was elected as president of MC Bandipora.
He said he was elected one year ago and had served the people of Bandipora heart and soul. Earlier Vice president Maqsood Ahmad Rather resigned from the council.
