Bandipora, Aug 5: As part of the Independence Day Celebrations 2026, Middle School (MS) Goalpathri, one of the remotest schools in Zone Quilmuqam, organised a school-level painting competition to promote patriotism and creativity among students.
The students participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their artistic talent through colourful paintings reflecting the spirit of nationalism and love for the country.
The activity aimed to nurture creativity while instilling a sense of patriotism, national pride and civic responsibility among the young learners.
School authorities said such co-curricular activities play an important role in the holistic development of students by encouraging self-expression and strengthening their emotional connection with the nation.
The programme concluded with appreciation for the enthusiastic participation of the students and the efforts of the teaching staff in making the event a success.
