Pampore, May 31: National Conference (NC) MLA from Pampore, Retired Justice Hasnain Masoodi, on Sunday held a public darbar at his Khrew Pampore residence in Pulwama district, providing a platform for residents of the constituency to directly voice their grievances and developmental concerns.
The outreach programme witnessed the participation of a large number of local residents, civil society members, and public delegations from different areas of the constituency.
The residents highlighted several issues related to civic amenities, road connectivity, drinking water supply, healthcare services, electricity, education, and employment opportunities.
The delegations sought the MLA’s intervention in the execution of ongoing development projects.
Addressing the gathering, Masoodi assured the people that their concerns would be taken up with the concerned departments on priority. He said maintaining close contact between elected representatives and the public ensures transparent governance and effective delivery of services.
The residents expressed hope that the issues raised during the public darbar would receive prompt attention from the concerned authorities. The programme concluded with Masoodi interacting individually with several delegations and assuring continuous engagement with the people to facilitate development and public welfare across the Pampore constituency.
