Hajin, April 29: Today, during naka checking at Markundal, a pedestrian identified as Mudasir Ahmad Mir, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Mir, resident of Tirgam, was stopped for routine checking while travelling from Markundal towards Sumbal.
During the search, a charas-like substance, weighing approximately 300 grams and concealed in a blue-coloured polythene bag, was recovered from his possession.
Following the recovery of the narcotic substance, a case under FIR No. 89/2026 under sections 8/20 of the NDPS Act has been registered at the concerned police station.
