Bandipora, 11 March: An Army helicopter crashed in a forest in Chorgah Gujran area of Gurez valley of North Kashmir's Bandipora district.
Initial reports stated that an Army chopper crashed in Gujran Nallah of Tulail Tehsil in Chorgah village near Line of Control.
Sources said the helicopter was on way to Tulail to airlift an Ill BSF soldier but crashed midway. Rescue operation has been launched immediately.
Meanwhile SDM Gurez Dr Mudasir saidascertained that communication with the helicopter got disconnected and facts are being ascertained.
