BANDIPORA, MARCH 04: Government Degree College (GDC) Ajas on Monday organised pledge ceremony under the campaign ‘Mera Pehla Vote Desh Ke Liye’.
The aim of the event was to raise awareness about the importance of voting and to encourage students and staff to actively participate in the electoral process.
Assistant Professor, Saleem Ahmed Lone administered the pledge to the participants.
He provided a brief introduction, emphasizing the significance of each individual's vote in shaping the future of the nation.
The pledge ceremony was attended by students and staff from various departments of GDC.
Lone highlighted the importance of such events in fostering civic engagement and instilling a sense of duty and responsibility among the youth besides promoting democratic values and empowering its students and staff to be active participants in the democratic process.
