Raksha Rajya Mantri Praises NCC at Republic Day Camp

Jammu, Jan 18: Raksha Rajya Mantri Ajay Bhatt visited the NCC Republic Day Camp, emphasizing that the National Cadet Corps is not just an organization but a movement shaping responsible and patriotic citizens.

 Praising NCC's efforts in creating future heroes and fostering diversity, he described the camp as a vibrant representation of India's culture on the global stage.

Ajay Bhatt lauded the NCC for instilling values, skills, and leadership abilities in cadets, noting its growth into the world's largest uniformed youth organization. Reflecting on his days as an NCC cadet, he expressed deep pride in the organization and highlighted its commendable community service initiatives.

Acknowledging schemes like 'Puneet Sagar Abhiyan,' 'Ganga Utsav Campaign,' 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan,' 'Plastic Pollution Campaign,' 'Coastal Clean-up Day,' and 'World’s Rivers Day,' Ajay Bhatt called for a rededication to the ideals of the Constitution to build a more inclusive and stronger India on Republic Day.

During the event, the Raksha Rajya Mantri reviewed a smart cadet 'Guard of Honour' and witnessed an impressive band display by NCC cadets from Sainik School, Kapurthala. He also explored the 'Flag Area' depicting social awareness themes and cultural activities, followed by a Cultural Programme showcasing national integration and India's rich cultural heritage.
