Srinagar, Jan 17: Green Valley Educational Institute (GVEI) took part in National Road Safety Week 2024, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The event, done in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Traffic Police City Srinagar and NSS-KU, involved Scouts from GVEI—Ibraaheem Ahmad, Munzir Qureshi, Huzaif, Mir Musa, and Mohammad Khalid.
Starting on January 11, 2024, at Pologround Srinagar, the event had the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Traffic City present. The Scouts showed their commitment to road safety through various activities.
On January 13, 2024, the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar appreciated GVEI's Scouts and invited them to his office, thanking them for their valuable service.
GVEI is actively fostering a sense of civic engagement and responsibility among its students, making a positive impact on community welfare.
