Bandipora, May 09: Government Higher Secondary School Chuntimullah on Wednesday released its maiden School magazine "Sherasar" in an impressive function.
According to official spokesperson Principal Dr Nasir Hussain Peerzada released the magazine while all Head of Institutions from Chuntimullah cluster participated in the event and praised the initiative in the region.
The programme was anchored by Abdan Nasir while the magazine release event began with Quran recitation by Ishfaq Rashid Lone, a Teacher.
The proceedings of the event started with warm welcome speech by Gulam Qadir Wani, Lecturer Botany.
Those who spoke on the occasion include Shaheen Iqbal Lecturer Chemistry, Fayaz Ahamd lone, Lecture Zoology, Javid Ahmad, Aijaz Ahmad PEM, and Zahoor Ahamd, Senior Lecturer Political Science.
The students of the institution performed some catchy cultural events. The moderation of the programme was smoothly carried out by Dr Yasir Ali, Lecturer Physics .
The Principal Dr Nasir Hussain Peerzada in his speech lauded the efforts of editors, student and writers for their meticulous job.
He highlighted the importance of developing better communication skills among the learners. Such endeavours hone the hidden talent of students and make them to think critically and creatively.
Peerzada said the vision of NEP 2020 could be crystallized by involving the students to think independently and constructively to face the real life challenges.
Lastly, Vote of Thanks was accorded to all participants and HOIs from cluster Chuntimullah.
