“No special school preference can lead our posting to any school which may be not suitable for we people,” said Zahoor Ahmad Lone, a specially-abled teacher.

“I am working in zone 1 and while filling the ATD link I have to give preference to zones 2, 3 and 4 which are very far away from my residence,’ he added. “There is no special provision where we can identify ourselves as specially abled so that we can get schools that are easily accessible.

They requested the Principal Secretary School Education Department to keep reserve specially School preference for specially abled employees of the department so that they can have suitable posting.  They have demanded a separate ATD link for such persons.
