Bandipora, Feb 28: A grand farewell function was organised by the staff members of Govt Model Girls Higher Secondary School Bandipora to accord warm send-off to Mohammad Muzaffar Haji, lecturer political science on his superannuation on Tuesday.
The farewell function was organized in the school auditorium in which all the staff members recalled the dedicated service of the officer and heartily praised the sheer dint of his hard work and exemplary commitment he showed towards his duties all along his tenure in the department in general and the Girls Hr Sec in particular.
The function started with recitation of Quranic verses by Shabir Ahmad Nadvi, staffer of the institution. Many a teachers and lectures spoke over the occasion including Bashir Ahmad Mir, Nayeem Ahmad Parrey, Mohammad Iqbal Samoon, Mohammad Mumtaz, Mohammed Amin and Mustaq Ahmad Ganie.
Principal GGHSS Bandipora Mohammad Rafiq Parrey recited the contribution of the retiring officer and praised his professional journey at the institution in his detailed speech. He also prayed for his happy post retirement life.
During the farewell function, Mohammad Muzaffar Haji was felicitated with a citation and a Kashmiri shawl besides some gifts from staff members as a token of love and respect to him on his superannuation and wished him a very happy post retirement life.
All the proceedings of the day were carried out by Ishtiyaq Hussain samoon and vote of thanks was presented by Javid Ahmad Mir.
