Bandipora contractor dies in hit and run case in Jammu
Vehicle identified, driver will be arrested soon: Police

Bandipora, Jan 02: A prominent contractor was killed in a road accident that took place in Greater Kalash Jammu on Monday afternoon.
An official said that a contractor was killed on spot after being hit by a speedy four wheeler in Greater Kalash area of Jammu however, the vehicle driver fled from the spot along with the vehicle.
He identified the deceased as Mohammad Akram Bhat of Vijhara Lowdara village of Bandipora. He said after completion of medico-legal formalities, the body has been handed over to the family and is on way to Bandipora from Jammu.
Station House Officer Gangyal said they have identified the vehicle and the driver of the vehicle (Hyundai-i20) will be arrested along with vehicle soon.
Meanwhile the family sources said the Nimaz-e-jenazah of deceased will be offered at Vijhara in Bandipora on Tuesday at 10:30 AM.
