Sumbal: 08 June : Public Service Organisation (PSO) in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Women's helpline 181 on Saturday organised a day-long round table conference on the topic "sexual harassment of women and the role of police" at Sumbal Sonawari Bandipora.
The conference was attended by executive magistrate Sumbal, BMO Hajin , some senior officials of the police department and municipal committee. The conference was also attended by some senior people from the society section.
On the occasion executive magistrate and other dignitaries assured of taking serious steps and also hailed the higher authorities for the eradication of these social evils from the society.
Executive Magistrate Sumbal and other dignitaries also admired the chairman PSO adv irshad and his members for organising such programs. Advocate Irshad Ahmad on the occasion said that his organisation will make continuously efforts to organise such programes which will have a positive impact on society.
