Bandipora, 16 March: Continuing its drive against Drug menace in Bandipora, Police established Naka at Markundal Sumbal where during checking two persons were apprehended who were on a motorcycle.  During their personal search, 900 grams of contraband Brown Sugar( worth more than 20 lakhs) was recovered from their Possession.The persons were identified as Nazir Ahmad Dar s/o Mohammad Jamal Dar and Mohammad Afzal Dar s/o Habibullah Dar both residents of village Shahgund Hajin. The contraband substance and the motor cycle was seized and both the accused were arrested on spot.
A case FIR NO. 38/2019 under relevant sections was registered in PS Sumbal.
