Bandipora, March 16: District Employment and Counseling Centre Bandipora is conducting job fair at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium Bandipora on March 19 in which several private companies are expected to participate for on-spot training cum placement of the unemployed youths.
Assistant Director Employment Bandipora Shabnam Arif Mir said various private and public-sector understandings including corporate organizations involved in UDAAN scheme besides several other government departments and government sponsoring agencies and Employers of the state will participate in the job Mela.
Meanwhile Deputy Commissioner Bandipora Shahbaaz Ahmad Mirza reviewed the preparedness for the Mela and directed the officials to put in place all the requisite arrangements for making the job Mela a grand success.
He also urged educated unemployed youth to visit the Job Mela to avail the opportunity of getting jobs at the Mela. He also urged them to set up their own business ventures to get maximum benefits under various central and state sponsored schemes and said self-employment is the only way to tackle the unemployment problem.
