Bandipora: Former Minister of State and former MLA Bandipora Usman Majid has expressed concern over the power outage in Bandipora town, questioning the Power Development Department (PDD) over the disruption in electricity supply.
In a social media post, Majid said the town had been plunged into darkness and sought accountability from the concerned department. He also tagged the Jammu and Kashmir Power Development Department and local PDD authorities.
Majid questioned the government over its pre-election promise of ensuring uninterrupted electricity supply, saying such commitments held little meaning if residents continued to face power disruptions.
He sought an explanation from the concerned authorities over the outage and called for accountability.
