New Delhi, October 23: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Thursday called upon the Army’s senior leadership to maintain a long-term strategic vision while remaining prepared to respond to immediate and emerging challenges.

Addressing the Army Commanders’ Conference in New Delhi, Singh stressed the need for a strategic outlook spanning the next 20–30 years and said military strategies must remain dynamic and flexible to adapt to changing circumstances.

Commending the Defence Forces for adapting to evolving operational conditions, he said Operation Sindoor demonstrated innovative thinking, enhanced synergy and superior coordination, complemented by advanced weaponry.
