JKTF Rajwar Felicitates State Awardee Teacher Altaf Ahmad Bhat

Rajwar, September 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Teachers Forum (JKTF), Zone Rajwar, felicitated Altaf Ahmad Bhat, a teacher at Government High School Rajpora and State Award recipient, during a visit to his residence on Tuesday.

The delegation, led by JKTF Rajwar Zonal President Ghulam Mohammad Masala, included members of the forum’s executive committee. The members congratulated Bhat on receiving the state-level recognition and appreciated his contribution to teaching and student development.

Bhat, who also serves as District Organiser of JKTF in Kupwara, was recognised for his work in the field of education. Recent reports had identified him as a nominee from Kupwara district for the State/UT-level Best Teacher Award.

During the visit, JKTF members said the recognition was significant for the teaching community of Rajwar and acknowledged Bhat’s work in introducing teaching practices aimed at improving students’ academic development.

Masala congratulated Bhat and said recognition of teachers at the State or Union Territory level reflected the contribution of the wider education fraternity. He also wished Bhat continued success in his professional career.

JKTF members said they hoped the recognition would encourage other teachers to continue working on improving teaching and learning outcomes in schools.

The visit was part of JKTF Rajwar’s effort to acknowledge the achievement of a teacher from the zone and highlight contributions made by members of the teaching community.
