Kulgam, August 26: Five hybrid militants were arrested by security forces during a joint cordon and search operation in the Bugam Orchard area of Kulgam district on Wednesday.
An official while talking to Kashmir Convener said that the operation was jointly carried out by Kulgam Police, 9 Rashtriya Rifles and 18 Battalion CRPF, officials said.
During the operation, four 9mm pistols, four magazines, 22 rounds of ammunition and two hand grenades were recovered from their possession, official said.
Further investigation into the matter is underway.
