Srinagar, July 24: The Jammu and Kashmir Trade Promotion Organisation (JKTPO), under the Department of Industries and Commerce, is showcasing the Union Territory’s premium food, agriculture and horticulture products at Indus Food Ahmedabad 2026, being held from July 24 to 26 at the Helipad Exhibition Centre, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
The participation is being facilitated under the Raising and Accelerating MSME Performance (RAMP) programme of the Ministry of MSME and aims to strengthen global market access for J&K products while promoting the region’s agri-based enterprises on an international business platform.
Organised by the Trade Promotion Council of India (TPCI), the three-day business-to-business (B2B) sourcing event has brought together leading stakeholders from the food processing, packaging, retail, exports and agri-food sectors. The exhibition features more than 300 exhibitors, over 40 retail chains and is expected to attract around 15,000 trade visitors, including international buyers, distributors, importers and policymakers.
The Jammu & Kashmir Pavilion in Hall No. 2 provides a platform for MSMEs, Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs) and women entrepreneurs to showcase a wide range of premium products from the region.
The pavilion features world-renowned Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged products such as Kashmir Saffron, Rajmah, Sulai (Acacia) honey and multifloral honey, besides organic honey, essential oils, medicinal herbs, ground spices, pulses, dry fruits, and dehydrated fruits and vegetables.
Officials said the event offers valuable exposure to local entrepreneurs while facilitating business interactions with global buyers, retail chains and institutional procurement agencies, helping expand export opportunities for J&K products.
Speaking on the occasion, Managing Director, JKTPO, said the Union Territory’s participation reflects its growing strength in agri-based value chains, quality production and export readiness.
“The Jammu & Kashmir Pavilion at Indus Food Ahmedabad 2026 reflects our region’s growing strength in agri-based value chains, quality production and export readiness. JKTPO remains committed to enabling MSMEs, FPOs and women entrepreneurs to integrate with global markets and build a strong brand identity for J&K products worldwide,” the Managing Director said.
The exhibition serves as a strategic platform for connecting Indian food producers with global buyers and strengthening India’s position in international food supply chains through long-term trade partnerships and business collaborations.
