Akhnoor, July 20: The Akhnoor Ignited Minds Initiative has achieved a 100 per cent success rate in NEET 2026, with all 27 students enrolled under the programme qualifying the national medical entrance examination, officials said on Sunday.
The initiative, supported by the Indian Army, Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited (AVNL) and NIEDO, was launched to provide academic coaching, mentorship and guidance to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds aspiring to pursue medical education.
According to officials, the programme enabled students to receive structured preparation, continuous academic support and motivation throughout their NEET journey. The successful qualification of all 27 students has been described as a significant achievement for the initiative.
The Indian Army said the result reflects the perseverance and hard work of the students, many of whom faced financial and social challenges while preparing for the examination. It also acknowledged the contribution of the Crossed Swords Division under White Knight Corps in promoting education and youth empowerment through community outreach initiatives.
Officials stated that the initiative was aimed at creating opportunities for deserving students by ensuring access to quality coaching and mentorship. They said the collaboration between the Indian Army and partner organisations has helped nurture talent among youth in the region.
The Army further noted that the achievement highlights the impact of educational support programmes in encouraging self-reliance and inclusive development among students from underprivileged sections of society.
