Four Teachers Suspended in Ganderbal over alleged Lapses during Amarnath Yatra Duties

Ganderbal, July 8: The Chief Education Officer (CEO), Ganderbal, has placed four teachers under suspension with immediate effect following a communication received from the Nodal Officer, Transit Camp Manigam.

According to an order issued by the Office of the Chief Education Officer, Ganderbal, the action was taken on the basis of a communication received from the Nodal Officer, Transit Camp Manigam (Assistant Commissioner Revenue).

The suspended teachers have been identified as Bilal Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Haripora Kangan; Aabid Mohi-ud-Din Bhat, a resident of Manigam; Peer Mudasir Shah, a resident of Wussan; and Gowhar Rashid Kullu, a resident of Gund.

The order states that all four officials have been placed under suspension with immediate effect.

No reason for the suspension has been specified in the order issued by the Chief Education Officer. [KNT]
