CRPF Organises Free Health Camp for 200 Patients in Bandipora Village

Bandipora, May 18: The 45th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a free medical camp at Tangabuthoo Ajas village in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Monday under its Civic Action Programme, officials said.

The camp was inaugurated by 2IC Brijesh Kumar Yadav of the 45th Battalion in the presence of Assistant Commandant Upendro, Head of Institution Shamsu Din and other officers, along with local representatives and prominent residents.

During the camp, around 200 patients from the area availed free medical check-ups, consultations and medicines provided by CRPF medical staff and civil doctors.

Officials said the initiative aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to people in remote areas and strengthen community outreach.

Speaking on the occasion, 2IC Brijesh Kumar Yadav said the CRPF has remained committed to assisting local communities and contributing to peace, development and public welfare in the region.

He said such civic action programmes would continue in the future to support residents, particularly in underserved and remote areas.

Local residents appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude for the medical assistance provided during the camp.
