MLA Nizamuddin Bhat Mourns Death of Three Young Men in Hajin Tragedy

Bandipora, May 8: Three young men lost their lives after reportedly slipping into the Jhelum River in the Hajin area of north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, triggering widespread grief across the region.

The deceased have been identified as Sohail Ahmad Dar, Aadil Ahmad Dar and Sameer Ahmad Dar. The incident occurred in Hajin, where the three youths reportedly drowned after falling into the river under unclear circumstances.

Following the tragedy, condolences poured in from various quarters, including local political leaders and residents, who expressed grief over the loss of the young lives.

MLA Bandipora, Nizamuddin Bhat expressed deep sorrow over the incident and conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families. In his message, he described the incident as “extremely painful and heartbreaking” and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.

He also prayed for strength and patience for the families to bear the irreparable loss and expressed solidarity with the people of Hajin during the time of mourning.

The tragic incident has cast a pall of gloom across the area, with residents mourning the deaths of the three youths. Locals termed the incident devastating and extended sympathies to the affected families.
