BFGI Announces Major Scholarship Initiatives for JK Students for Admission Session 2026

Srinagar, May 07: Baba Farid Group of Institutions (BFGI) has announced a series of special scholarship and student welfare initiatives for the students of Jammu & Kashmir during a press conference held in Kashmir for the Admission Session 2026.

Addressing members of the media, BFGI officials said the institution has maintained a strong educational relationship with the people of Kashmir for the last 16 years, with thousands of Kashmiri students successfully completing their studies at the institution and pursuing professional careers across India and abroad.

The institution unveiled several new policies aimed at making higher education more accessible and affordable for deserving students from the region. The newly announced initiatives include the J&K Excellence Scholarship Policy, BFGI SET Scholarship Policy, ST Scholarship Scheme for Tribal Students, AICTE PMSSS Support & Guidance Initiative, Earn While Learn Policy, Girls Scholarship Schemes, Sports & Talent-Based Scholarships, and financial assistance for economically weaker students and those belonging to rural and border areas.

Speaking at the event, BFGI representatives stated that the primary objective of these initiatives is to ensure that no deserving student is deprived of quality higher education due to financial constraints.

BFGI, a NAAC A+ Accredited institution, currently offers more than 60 professional and career-oriented courses in Engineering, Pharmacy, Paramedical Sciences, Management, Hotel Management, Agriculture, Commerce, Humanities, and Computer Applications, among other emerging fields.

The institution also emphasized its commitment towards providing a safe, secure, and student-friendly environment for students from Jammu & Kashmir, with special focus on mentorship, hostel facilities, and overall student wellbeing.

BFGI officials expressed confidence in the talent and potential of Kashmiri youth and reiterated their commitment towards supporting students through quality education, scholarships, and career-oriented opportunities.
