Awantipora, April 25: Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyan, Police Station Khrew, headed by SHO Police Station Khrew Inspector Naieem Rashid, during naka checking at Seer Colony Khrew road, apprehended one individual identified as Razi Mushtaq son of Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, resident of Shar Shalli.
During search, 1.82 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly, a case FIR No. 31/2026 has been registered under relevant sections of law at Police Station Khrew and investigation has been taken up.
Police reiterated their commitment towards eradicating drug abuse and urged the general public to cooperate and share any information related to drug peddling in their area.
